Welcome to KADMOS SEAFARERS TRAINING AND MANNING LIMITED (referred to herein as “Kadmos,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kadmos seafarers training, manning, and related services, including the website located at https://kadmoskenya.com (the “Site”) and any applications, courses, or programs offered by Kadmos.
By accessing or using the Site and our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
“Client,” “You,” “Your”: Refers to the user, student, or seafarer accessing our Services or seeking training/manning services.
“Services”: Encompasses all offerings by Kadmos, including but not limited to online courses, certifications, industry placements, manning, recruitment, and consultancy.
“Site Content”: Includes all text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork, and computer code on the Site.
2. General Conditions
2.1. Eligibility
By using our Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have legal permission from a guardian to enter into this agreement. 2.2. Modification of Terms: Kadmos reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. 2.3. Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when registering for courses or applying for manning services.
3. Training and Course Enrollment
3.1. Course Access
Access to online courses is granted upon successful registration and, where applicable, payment of the required fees. Access may be for a limited duration, as specified in the course description.
3.2. Certification
Successful completion of a course and passing all required assessments will lead to the issuance of an online certificate. Kadmos is affiliated with recognized bodies; however, Kadmos makes no guarantee regarding the acceptance of its certificates by all external entities, maritime administrations, or employers.
3.3. Intellectual Property
All training materials, course content, videos, documents, and Site Content are the intellectual property of Kadmos or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the course content without express written permission from Kadmos.
4. Manning and Placement Services
4.1. Non-Guarantee
- Kadmos Seafarers Training and Manning acts as an intermediary for placement services. While we strive to secure placements, we do not guarantee job offers, employment contracts, or internship placements.
4.2. Recruitment Process
- All placements are subject to the seafarer meeting the employer’s criteria, including successful interviews, medical fitness, and possession of valid, appropriate certifications and documentation.
4.3. Fees
- Any fees related to manning or placement services will be clearly outlined in a separate agreement specific to the recruitment process.
5. Payment and Fees (Where Applicable)
5.1. Fee Structure
- All fees for services are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate refund policy or in the event of course cancellation by Kadmos.
5.2. Payment Method
- We accept payment through various methods as indicated on the Site. You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any users of your account at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred.
6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
6.1 Prohibited Use: You agree not to use the Site or Services
For any unlawful purpose or in violation of any international, national, or local laws.
To solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts.
To violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others.
To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability.
To transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
7.1. Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Services and all Site Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement

- In no case shall Kadmos Seafarers Training and Manning, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the services.
8. Governing Law
- These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
