Kenya Maritime Authority Director General CPA Omae Nyarandi and Korea’s Deputy Minister Jeongho Seo, today signed a landmark MoU between Kenya and the Republic of Korea on the mutual recognition of Seafarers’ Certificates of Competency during the 11th Our Ocean Conference in Mombasa.
Principal Secretary GeoffreyKaituko paid a courtesy call to the Chargé d’Affaires of Kenyan Embassy in South Korea, Mr. Kipkosgei Toroitich. The call is to foster more engagement and partnership btwn Kenya and S.Korea which is to host the upcoming Korea Africa summit in June this year where the President of Kenya H.E Dr. William Ruto is expected to attend.
